In October, SALOON Vienna traveled outside the city for a visit to Kunstverein Baden. The tour was guided by director, curator and SALOON Vienna member Katja
Stecher, who offered members an exclusive look at the Kunstverein and its current exhibition Fragments proposés.
The exhibition explored an artistic-curatorial exchange that began during a residency in Paris in May 2024, emphasizing the collectivity of artistic creation and the dynamic relationships between participants, materials, dimensions, and the world itself. Artists Miriam Hamann (SALOON Vienna member), Constanze Schweiger, and Javiera Tejerina-Risso (SALOON Paris member) engaged with the principle of the Cadavre Exquis, reinterpreting fragments of earlier works to allow one work to evolve into another.
