WORK IT #8: SHARING FEMINIST & ECOLOGICAL PRACTICE hosted by MOTHERBOARD × SALOON Vienna

SHARING FEMINIST & ECOLOGICAL PRACTICE

hosted by MOTHERBOARD × SALOON Vienna

The SHARING SESSION series, hosted by Stephanie Winter, gathers people to exchange seeds, fruits, stories, and practices, carried in pockets, vessels, or imagined carrier bags, a living format for reflection, learning, and collective care. Each session unfolds as a space to explore embodied, relational, and ecological ways of being together.

This session marks the final gathering within the laboratory of Healing Common Ground, bringing together feminist and ecological practices as modes of relation — practices that question domination, separation, and extractive ways of inhabiting the world. What kinds of gestures, rituals, or forms of attention challenge inherited hierarchies and open space for more reciprocal relations between humans and more-than-human worlds? How do we unlearn patriarchy not only conceptually, but in embodied form — in how we speak, listen, organize, nourish, and care?

Participants are invited but not required to share a short contribution reflecting a feminist and/or ecological practice meaningful to them — through performance, song, reading, gesture, spoken reflection, ritual, elixir or else.

After the sharing, MOTHERBOARD is open to the public, inviting to get a last glimpse of the project Healing Common Ground, a drink at the bar and a chance for further exchange. Additionally, participants are invited to bring an edible element from the plant world, fruit, herb, seed, root, or preparation, that resonates symbolically or materially with your practice. We will gather around a low table and eat with our hands, acknowledging nourishment as relational and political.
