Lisa Großkopf lives and works in Vienna and elsewhere. She studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, and the University of Art and Design Linz.
Her work has been exhibited at, among others, the Lentos Art Museum, Ars Electronica, Belvedere 21, Museum der Moderne Salzburg, and the Kunsthaus Graz. Internationally, her work has been
presented in Tel Aviv, Hamburg, Budapest, Tehran, Amsterdam, and Kassel.
Großkopf has received numerous awards and grants, including the Gabriele Heidecker Prize, the Emanuel and Sofie Fohn Scholarship, the Grand Art Grant of the State of Burgenland, the Austrian
Federal Scholarship for Emerging Artists, and the Recognition Award of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her work is held in public collections across Austria and Germany, including the Wien
Museum and the Museum of Applied Arts Frankfurt.
