Esther Mlenek (*1986), is exhibition manager and curator at Bildraum 07 and the Artist-in-Residence-Programme at Bildraum Studio, run by Bildrecht. She studied Cultural Programming and Management at City, University of London and History at the University of Vienna and Universitá Roma Tre. Since 2012, she curates individual and group shows with a focus on contemporary sculpture and painting, featuring emerging talents and established artists alike. On behalf of Bildrecht she further organizes the 'Dagmar Chobot Skulpturenpreis' and the 'viennacontemporary | Bildrecht SOLO Award'. Esther also works as a freelance curator and writes contributions for art catalogues and publications.
