Paula Marschalek is art historian, art manager and founder of Marschalek Art Management which is a young project based in Vienna. The project focuses on creative, new, and versatile ways to communicate contemporary art and specializes in press, public relations, and social media communication for artists as well as galleries, museums, and institutions. To date, Paula Marschalek has been working independently on different projects in arts and culture and was involved in projects with Viennese key players such as Dorotheum or Kunsthistorisches Museum. Additionally, she has been working with young galleries which support emerging artists, e.g. Galerie Rudolf Leeb. In this way, she is able to connect the traditional cultural institutions with the young and upcoming art scene. By pursuing this approach, Paula Marschalek received a scholarship on Cultural Management provided by the Bundeskanzleramt. With this scholarship, she spent time in Los Angeles, working with the MAK Center for Art and Architecture from September 2019 to March 2020.
